The Scambusters
We are the Scambusters. Formed through the JA X HSBC Junior Achievement Hong Kong Competition, we developed the Scambusters Toolkit to protect the elderly and families in Hong Kong from falling victim to scams. In our city, where scam cases are rapidly increasing, our bilingual toolkit provides practical support through components: a comprehensive directory booklet, interactive scenario cards, a multi-purpose cardholder/lanyard, a clear guidance leaflet and a scam-prevention sticker kit to reinforce awareness.
Mission
Statement.
Our mission is to provide educational materials on scam prevention to the elderly in Hong Kong through the Scambusters' Toolkit. Our toolkit's components aim to help elderly people navigate scam situations they may encounter with confidence, improve their awareness of common scam tactics, and build long-term resilience against scams.
Our Vision
Our vision is to create an "unscammable" future, where the elderly in Hong Kong and beyond have the necessary resources and capabilities to protect themselves from various types of scams. We aim to reduce the elderly's susceptibility to fraudulent schemes in the long-term through our Scambusters Toolkit.

Our Achievements
After selling over 175 units across in-school fairs, primary school fairs, online presales, the Kai-Tak pop-up and more, the Scambusters were able to achieve the Financial Management Award, the Innovation Award, and the Company of the Year (Champion).
